Thanks for your no-compromise comments on the words "balance" and "paradox". If I may, I would like to contribute the following:

"Balance is what a person needs when he straddles the fence."

A belief in paradoxes is the failure of human reasoning to reconcile conflicting viewpoints. It attempts to explain spiritual truths apart from revelation.
